Trent James brings a fresh new feel to the “classic magic show”. Trent combines mindboggling magic and offbeat comedy for a new generation. He is the winner of over twenty awards, including The Society of American Magicians International Stage Contest- People’s Choice Winner, International Brotherhood of Magicians Stage Contest-Silver Medal, and was named The Most Promising Young Magician by the Milbourne Christopher Foundation. Trent’s performances have left audiences raving from Las Vegas to New York. His unique sleight of hand magic and hip vibe come together to form an unforgettable thrill ride!

Sir Pat-Trick

Sir Pat-Trick has been turning heads with his award winning stage magic. With numerous awards under his belt it is no wonder he has become a seasoned professional, even allowing him to receive two standing ovations at The Orleans Casino in Las Vegas and being asked to perform at The World Famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles California. Also Sir Pat-Trick has had articles about him being coached by Joanie Spina, Former Lead Assistant and Artistic Director to David Copperfield, written about him in Magic Magazine, a worldwide publication for Magicians. His background in theater has enhanced his career in stage production and performances. He is a proud member of the Society of American Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Magician Alliance of Eastern States, and the Covington Royal Academy of Prestidigitation. He combines different theatrical disciplines such as comedy, slap-stick, audience participation, storytelling with traditional magic. Sir Pat-Trick’s charming style will surely put a smile on your face!

COCKTAIL HOUR PERFORMERS

RYAN PLUNKETT

Ryan is a Chicago-based close-up magician who has been performing for the past two decades. Ryan is also a highly sought-after magic consultant, magic creator, and lecturer. Ryan has published two books on the art of magic, Some Assembly Required and A New Angle. Ryan is the Lead House Magician and Founding Ensemble Member of the Chicago Magic Lounge, and has also recently performed at The World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood California.

LUIS CARREON

Magician and mentalist Luis Carreon won the Harlan Tarbell Close up Competition Award from the International Brotherhood of Magicians 2 years in a row, took home 1st place at the Chicago Magic Competition hosted by the Society of American Magicians, he travels the country teaching other magicians about the art of magic and he is the head demonstrator at Magic Inc, the oldest family-owned magic shop in the country. Carreon has performed his show Bending Minds and Bending Dreams at theaters around Chicago, has been featured on the Univision evening news, was semi-finalist on Tengo Talento, the Spanish language equivalent of America's Got Talent, he is also a regular performer at the famous Magic castle In Hollywood California.

LEE BENZAQUIN

Lee moved to Chicago in 2013 after studying Literature at Emerson College in Boston, MA. He has been performing close-up magic with the Chicago Magic Lounge since its very first performance. In addition to magic, Lee is a house improviser at CIC Theater, and the editor of The Hambook, a quarterly journal about improvisation.

THE 654 CLUB PERFORMER

Patrick Livingstone

Patrick first learned about magic when he discovered an old family photo inside a large golden chalice, known as The Vase of Rismar. Once Patrick realized that his great uncle was a professional vaudeville magician, he became enchanted with the world of magic and has continued to grow in the family art. Since then Patrick has honed his craft and takes pride in leveraging deeper theatrical elements into every piece he presents. Trained in acting and storytelling by the Second City Chicago and under the modern master magician, Eugene Burger, Patrick performs regularly with The Cabaret Project, Chicago Magic Lounge and across the country. In 2017 Patrick opened his new show “Arsenic & Old Magic” at The Athenaeum Theater.

DEVEN BROWN

Deven Brown is a 29 year old Chicagoland native who’s practiced his craft professionally for over 15 years at restaurants and private events all around the city. He’s been honing his passion for the art of deception while specializing in bar betchas and close-up magic. Along with working for the MLB and the Hard Rock Hotel, Deven has hosted the Late Night Magic Bar as our resident Thursday Bar Magician for the past 2 years. Not only will he make you laugh but he’ll teach you how to win FREE drinks at your local bars!
