Volunteering Opportunities

The Chicago Magic Lounge requires a group of volunteer ushers to assist in the operations of each performance. This group of people will be scheduled to assist the patrons of the Chicago Magic Lounge by answering questions and giving directions to various locations within the CML: restrooms, 654 club, etc., and assist with seating and crowd control. If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity, please email our Operations Director at

Parking and Travel


The Chicago Magic Lounge is surrounded by street parking.

Parking along Ashland Avenue is free.

Up and down Clark Street you can park for $2 per hour until 10pm Monday through Saturday.

On sides streets close to Clark, you can park for $2 per hour until 6pm Monday through Saturday. If you park close to Ashland on the side street, it’s free.

Zone parking is free on Sundays.

Please refer to the parking signs in each zone to confirm parking regulations.


The #22 Clark St. bus will drop you just steps away from our front door.

The #50 Damen bus drops off at Ashland and Foster.

The #92 Foster bus drops off at Clark and Foster.

The #81 Lawrence bus drops off at Clark and Lawrence.


The closest train stop is the Argyle Red Line. From there, the Chicago Magic Lounge is a short walk down Winnemac or a quick cab ride to 5050 N. Clark Street.
