Converted from a 1940s-era, commercial laundry building, the Chicago Magic Lounge is a 7,200 square-foot, deco-style, state-of-the-art theater and lounge, featuring a 1930s-style, speakeasy performance bar, a 107-seat cabaret theater, and a formal close-up gallery named The 654 Club. Every inch is designed and polished in this elegant new nightclub.

THE HARRY BLACKSTONE CABARET Theater
Our crown jewel, the 107-seat, Harry Blackstone Cabaret Theater features an unobstructed view from every section. The cabaret-style seating, with elevated rail and banquette areas on the main floor, allows for enjoying cocktails and small bites with maximum access to view the stage. The Harry Blackstone Cabaret Theater includes state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities, a projector, listening assist, wheelchair accessibility, and a Hammond organ.
THE 654 CLUB
Named after the famed 'Sam the Bellhop' routine, popularized by Chicago magicians Frank Everhart Sr. and Bill Malone, the 654 Club is a 43-seat, formal, close-up gallery. The performance space features raked theater seating, 4 removable seats for accessibility, side tables for cocktails, and magic ephemera from Chicago's past lining the walls.
The Chicago Round Table Library
Take in our first rate collection of magic literature and memorabilia. The bedrock of this collection comes from the Library of Walter Gibson, an American author and magician, who wrote over 100 books on magic. It has since been acquired by the Chicago Magic Lounge and is made available to the members of the Chicago Magic Round Table exclusively.
The Performance BAR (A.k.a. David’s Bar)
Open every night from 5pm to close, this Art Deco bar features signature cocktails, luxurious seating and magicians behind the bar to challenge your imagination. Capacity is capped at 34 guests to ensure an intimate and relaxing experience.
THE MEZZANINE
The upper echelon of our Blackstone Cabaret, 16 perfect views of the stage and theater await. Rub elbows with members of the Round Table: our “club house” for magicians is just on the other side of the stairs.
